CLOSER TO ENGLISH

What are Bilingual Environments?
If you are wondering about it, let me explain that bilingual environments are moments to be immersed in English outside the classroom lessons, giving to the students the opportunity to participate in activities where they can interact each other in a natural way, activities such as games during the break or how to ask the snacks at the school shop, to narrate stories where students can share ideas and opinions or even connect the English with sports practice. We can see that another way to create Bilingual environments is by letting the students to do artistic activities where they can express their vision of the world they are living nowadays and how they propose solutions for different aspects too.
How to support English learning at home?
In this process is necessary that school and family work together in order to take to our students to English learning succeed. There some strategies where Parents can work with their kids: From Monkimun, experts in language learning, recommend parents to carry out activities with their children in other languages that help consolidate what the child is learning.

Colombia through our eyes

From April 2nd to 5th ¨Colombia through our eyes¨ was exposed at Maria Auxiliadora Auditorium.

This is a portrait where our students showed a personal vision related to our country, aspects such as our folklore, historic events, national symbols, landscapes and current social facts are explained through figures, colors and lines where communication comes not only in words but personal and intimate drawings and paintings from a group of youngsters and kids who want to perform diversity and propose changes to our society by using visual arts and English as a tool of communication.
